Just came back from the emergency vet. Mom was mountainbiking for 2 hours while I needed to be fed. Soooo I decided to take matters in my own 🐾. As mom is painting the cabinet doors in the kitchen, I gave myself access to the food drawers and ate:

More of the National Park! We couldn’t get enough of it!! We slept at a bird spotting area North from the NP and took som quiet time with the birds before going to bed. And we close the day off with mommas manyra she taught me: I am Nesto and a bird is my friend… I am Nesto and a bird is my friend.. I am Nest…🥱o… and a bir…d… is my fri💤

We realy enjoyed driving through the national park Bardenas Reales. This is the desert like area in Spain! Driving is only allowed on the car paths. We saw again many voltures, but none of them were patient enough to keep hanging in the same spot for a proper portret. Well, I gues mom needs to stick to photografing me instead!

We had a warm cup of tea (Té) in the small town of Olite and visited the castle. I was only allowed inside if dad would carry me through the entire thing 😳. I got the feeling… somehow… dad was not open to this idea…🤔 I think we need to have a talk DAD!

Sometimes I help mom during her dark days. Then she gets a visit during the night from her demons. But in the morning I brighten her day and be her guardian angel. Together we always get through it! ( This amage of me was taken at the volture gorge at Lumbier)

The city of Pamplona is small with many tiny cobblestone streets. At 15:00 everyone from the area gathers at his/her favorit bar/resaurant to enjoy the pintxos (small bites). The streets are too full to walk through. Then at 17 it is empty, no more people, no more food, and restaurants cleaning after the tornedo. A weel spend Saterday!

Our visit to San Sebastian was very nice. The weather was good for me, not too hot. To bad I could not get into the very clear water!!

We had a relaxed afternoon at the highest Dune of Europe in France! We made some fun in the super soft sand and then relaxed and worked on our color in the sun. We ended with a poke bowl lunch at the cutest little place near the Dune! What a beautiful day!!!

My visit to Bordeaux was awesome! It was a very nice city with lots of nice people. The bus and tram from the campsite were a great success! The buildings in the city centre are really nice! And because I’m not that fast anymore with my 11 years and one painful paw, mom has all the time in the world to look around! Great day

I just woke up at the terrace in Bordeaux where I was resting! Mom woke me up because I fell asleep in my drinking bowl with one of my ears

The hot weather calls for a good Soto Ajam!! Like a real family tradition😋

Yesterday evening mom went litter picking for two hours with a full bag per hour as a result. She didn’t beat ther record of 29 face masks, this time only (or should I say still) 15 masks. She did however find 10 empty drug zipliner bags with the so recognisable green liner and picked up about 100 cans. Almost 80 pieces of energy drink cans. She even saved three cans from being burried with grass and dirt. She had to really dig it out! But we saved the earth from it!!

Mom is super proud of me! It only took me 11 years to actually sleep in a spot specially created for me... I tend to lay next too the special orthopedic pillow or next to the blanket on the cold floor. Today after 11 years I chose for the pillow!! I just do it on Nesto-time 🤓 #momisproud

Monday memories! Mom and I took a nice and peaceful walk at the park! This inspired me te go swimming with the duckies, but they didn’t want to play with me 🙁

Our first two bags of picked-up litter by mom and me! Wauw this was on my route that is normally our short walkies of 10 minutes. We were out for more then an hour!! We love the great and rewarding feeling it gives us when it’s clean afterwards! Some music added and it can’t go wrong. Weirdest find of our first pick: an empty jar of Nutella, weirdest find of today: a plastic umbrella handle without the rest #volunteeringisfun

Mom had a rough day Friyay! She felt realy off, not sure what’s going om. Sateryay was a better day, but today she can use a Buddy!
